Web Developer / Programmer
Our dynamic and growing advertising and marketing communications company located in Fenton, Michigan, has immediate openings for web developer/programmers. Our organization provides a variety of high quality services including printing, direct mailing and interactive web sites for a wide range of clients in a variety of fields.
The main responsibilities associated with this position will be development/maintenance of multiple interactive projects with a large concentration in Internet/Intranet development. We are looking for an individual that is willing to take on a wide range of responsibilities, and is willing to be stretched and learn. To be considered for this position you must be able to:
Develop, execute, and maintain leading-edge Web solutions using various software solutions.
Have knowledge of web standards and ability to work within object-oriented programming frameworks. Create clear, well-organized, commented, efficient coding; establish and implement site development plan/standards; conduct testing; resolve bugs and cross-browser compatibility issues; remain current on all programming-related technology; and update web sites maintained by AlliedMedia.
Work with team to estimate projects and communicate the complexity and requirements of technical projects.
Have expert Knowledge of HTML, .NET, ASP, XML, PHP, MS SQL and working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Macromedia Dreamweaver knowledge required. Working knowledge of CSS, JavaScript, ColdFusion, Flash, ActionScript 2.0 and Flex is a plus.
Communicate well through e-mails and meetings
Test and document client changes and updates
Put-in additional hours when required.
Must have experience working on large, branded database-driven web sites.
An ideal candidate will also have:
An understanding of interactive site architecture documentation such as flowcharts, wire frames and business rules
Ability to develop effective Web strategies including site structure and navigation.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Take a design created in PhotoShop and translate it into a functioning Web interface
Use CSS, and troubleshoot browser compatibility and screen limitations
Work proficiently in MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
Communicate well through e-mails and meetings
Test and document client changes and updates
